Description: Stunning, contemporary and luxurious, the 6 bedroom Villa Wickie is poised
above the quieter side of Gustavia and boasts a breathtaking seascape. Guests
love watching the pleasure boats weave their way around the neighboring islands
and the fire-y sunsets are toast worthy. Chill the Champagne. Architecturally
designed to leverage the magnificent view, the main pavilion opens to a sunny
terrace with a gorgeous infinity pool and is configured to include spacious
living and dining areas. An expansive bar defines a sleek, futuristic WOW kitchen.
Equipped with high-end appliances (two Sub Zero refrigerators) and everything
a gourmet cook could want, it’s a focal point of the villa. Guests enjoy
gathering here to socialize.
Sleeping accommodations include a beautiful master (king) suite, housed in
a private pavilion, it features a sitting area. The other 5 lovely bedrooms,
all with baths en suite, are located in an adjacent, separate pavilion. Two
(king) bedrooms are on the first level and open to a tropically landscaped
patio. A pair of striking staircases provides access from the vestibule
to the 2nd level and three ocean-view bedrooms. On one side a queen connects
via the baths to a twin – a nice option for families with younger children.
A king bedroom is on the other side.
Villa Wickie’s chic décor is ultra modern with a white palette,
softened with rich wooden floors and brightened with pops of color and vibrantly
patterned Kenzo fabrics. The en suite bathrooms, tiled in softly toned mosaics
are as functional as they are beautiful. Occitane toiletries and plush robes
up the luxury quotient.
Teak terraces furnished with an outdoor dining table and loads of poolside
lounge chairs (there are two pools – heated in winter) make for great outdoor
living, relaxing and entertaining. A guest bath is easily accessed. Techno
amenities include a Bose surround sound music system. There is ample private
parking and Gustavia’s shops, restaurants and Shell Beach are just a
short walk. This is an exceptional vacation home and ideal for an extended
family and is the perfect venue to host a celebration.
High season is December 15 to April 15. Value season is April 16 to December 14.
