The island of St. Barthélemy can be reached by sea via ferry. The VOYAGER travels a minimum of three times a day from Marigot Bay and Oyster Pond on the French side of St. Martin (011+ 590 590 87 10 68). Additional service is available via the RAPID EXPLORER high speed ferry from Bobby's Marina in Philipsburg. (Note: Rapid Explorer is not running as of November 12, 2008. Please check with us for further information.) This is a high-speed catamaran with airline-like seats and air-conditioning. The Rapid Explorer departs Philipsburg every day at 7:15 am, 9:30 am and 5:00 pm, except for Tuesdays and Sundays when there is no 7:15 am departure. The boat departs St Barth every day at 8:15 am, 10:30 am and 6:00 pm, except for Tuesdays and Sundays when there is no 8:15 am departure. The crossing takes 45 minutes.
