Le Tom Beach Hotel has legions of devotees among island regulars. drawn by its chic and fun ambiance – in short its St. Barthiness. Owned and managed by the well-known Thierry de Badereau, the location of this boutique hotel is superb. Situated just steps from the uber popular St. Jean Beach where in addition to see and being seen you can indulge in all the water sports and generally do some serious hanging out. And being so close to chi-chi St. Jean Village for dining and shopping is an added plus.
The hotel is gaily painted in warm, bright Caribbean colors throughout and the 12 air-conditioned rooms are spacious and stylish. There are draped mahogany four-poster beds, nice baths and terraces complete with wet bars. Party on.
We adore the swimming pool here, literally just inches from the beach and spanned by a funky little footbridge. Cross over, follow the sounds of tinkling ice cubes, and you’ll find yourself at one of the island’s hottest spots - La Plage. There’s always something going on at this open-air restaurant; they serve breakfast and lunch as well, and in-season you can enjoy a fashion show with your salad and wine. Evenings, they alternate between live entertainment and DJs spinning great tunes. Guests can join in the merry making and the booty shakin’ and then come midnight, just boogie over the bridge back “home” to their rooms. We love that.

Who Would Just Love it Here
St. Jean Beach lovers and lovers in general as long as they are looking for a good “scene” and not a secluded hideaway. The proximity to all the activity at St. Jean Beach and the village make this a great spot for families especially those with ‘tweens and teens. |
