Peg Walsh

Peg Walsh's 1986─ love-at-first-sight visit to St. Barth was the genesis of St. Barth Properties. The company was officially founded in 1989, and it grew exponentially and garnered honors over the years. Peg has been personally recognized for her destination expertise. She was named one of the top villa specialists worldwide and the best for St. Barth by Condé Nast Traveler since the List's inception in 2006 and annually making the prestigious Wendy Perrin's WOW List: Wendy's Trusted Travel Experts.

Upon the 2021 sale of the company, Peg stepped back from her role of president, and consulted on elements of the transition as her son Tom Smyth (the company's former Vice President) assumed the presidency.

Peg has retained her co-ownership of St. Barth Sotheby's International Realty on Gustavia harbor and delights that so many of her former clients have chosen to make the island their "second home.

Her passion for St. Barth is as strong as ever, and she regularly visits with her family to enjoy all the island offers and keeps in touch with island friends and partners.
