Today there are 22 varied accommodations that include a (well-manicured) handful of rooms with well-appointed baths and one, two and three bedrooms suites. All are spacious with chic décor but each has its own unique features – dressing rooms, balconies, terraces, private pools, particularly beautiful ocean views…

A luxurious 2 bedroom, loft-style suite boasts a covered outdoor living area on its terrace and a plunge pool overlooking the ocean. Guests adore the privacy it affords. Taïwana’s pièce de résistance is its Penthouse with 3 en suite bedrooms, indoor and outdoor living areas and a spectacular seascape. It would be ideal for sharing with friends or a family including those with young children.

It is a modernist design hotel but gives a nod to St. Barth’s traditional architecture with a case-style pitched-roofed entrance. A beachfront bar – perfect for sunset cocktails – is adjacent to the acclaimed restaurant and a very sexy pool completes the picture. Chef Jerome Pru has been working his magic since Taïwana opened and guests love waking up and leisurely enjoying his breakfasts and delight in his classic luncheon menu. The dinner menu represents an exciting change; Taïwana has partnered with uber-talented chef Pascal Ramette to bring his acclaimed and popular PaCri Italiano Ristorante to the hotel. The restaurant is open to the public for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

There is a well-equipped fitness room and Taiwana’s staff can arrange private training for guests. Additionally massages and other spa treatments can be booked in the privacy of the guests rooms. The expert staff of the onsite salon Neville is at the ready for a mani-pedi and hair-styling. Personable and passionate about their craft, they make every guest feel at home; the well-stocked boutique Poupette would delight any fashionista.
