Tom Smyth

Tom began vacationing in St. Barth when he was just a teenager and joined the business in 1992. As the company's vice-president, he was instrumental in the company's strategic growth, including the launch of a branded hotel collection – the Hotels of St. Barth – and the affiliation of its real estate division with prestigious Sotheby's International Realty, in 2006. Listed in the Who's Who in Luxury Real Estate, Tom has been quoted in the New York Times and Wall Street Journal on the island's villa market.

In 2021, he oversaw the company's acquisition of it's rental operations by Nocturne Luxury Villas, at which time he was named President of St. Barth Properties. At the time of this acquisition, St. Barth Sotheby's International Realty was spun off independently, and still remains wholly owned by Tom Smyth & Peg Walsh.

Tom along with his wife, two adults sons, and their significant others, continue the tradition of St. Barth vacations.
