Spacious and luxurious, Villa Mythique has six en suite bedrooms, one being suitable for staff, and enough wow features including a stunning view of Marigot Bay to keep a houseful of vacationers happy.
A deck that runs the length of the house features an extra-long and heated infinity pool. It’s the focal point of the outdoor living space that includes a portico sheltering a conversation area and a dining table with seating for fourteen. A BBQ and food prep area are tucked away in the corner, at the ready.
Guests looking to while away their time in air-conditioned comfort can choose either working out in the well-equipped gym or catching a flick.
Mythique boasts a theater-style home cinema with nine cushy lounge chairs tiered for viewing the super-sized screen. Perhaps a classic movie would appeal. Mythique’s contemporary architecture and décor are complemented with an homage to mid-century movie stars. Stylized drawings and framed black and white photos of Marilyn, Frank, et al appear playfully throughout.
The nine-seat theater, gym (complete with sauna) guest bath, and two en suite bedrooms are lobby-level, and guests can choose to take the elevator or a sweeping staircase to the main level. An open, expansive air-conditioned living area includes a comfortable conversation space and a designer kitchen featuring a black lava stone island with seating. The kitchen is equipped with items that would top any gourmet’s – or bartender’s wish list and there is a cold storage room. Mithyque is a villa made for entertaining.
The beautifully decorated master bedroom (king bed) is off the living area and opens to the pool deck and the view. It features his and hers walk-in closets and a sumptuous en suite bath with indoor and outdoor rainhead showers. Two separate bedroom bungalows are positioned to leverage the view; one houses two bedrooms, and the other just one. All have French king beds, walls of closets, and well-appointed en suite baths with special features and outdoor rainhead showers.
The décor is minimalist but stylish with quirky touches like a giant photo of a fire engine and whimsical chandeliers. Individual satellite TVs and docking stations make Myrgique’s five main bedrooms true retreats.
A covered garage with ample parking makes coming and going easy. Two additional en suite bedrooms are on the lower level of the main house. One has a king bed and an en suite bath with a rain-head shower. A window frames a picture-perfect view of Marigot Bay. The sixth bedroom has a queen bed and is suitable for staff.
